Selon le quotidien panarabe Asharq Al-Awsat, qui cite des sources françaises, le ministre de la Défense israélien, Ehoud Barak, était prêt à lancer une attaque militaire de grande envergure au Liban pour donner une leçon à l'armée libanaise, à la suite de l'accrochage meurtrier survenu à la frontière entre Israël et le Liban le 3 août dernier.
Le ministre des Affaires étrangères français, Bernard Kouchner, qui s'était entretenu avec Ehoud Barak au téléphone, a averti les capitales occidentales de ce risque de guerre. Nicolas Sarkozy et Hillary Clinton, la secrétaire d'Etat américaine, se seraient impliqués personnellement auprès des autorités israéliennes pour empêcher cette attaque.
Bon … dans le cas ou se serait "vrai" , pour tout ceux et celles qui, comme moi, sont loin du Liban, qui prennent la chienne de leur vie, dès qu'un pet de travers arrive dans cette (fucking) partie du globe :
