Lately Apple gave birth to his last joke, the iPad. Of course, it's super cool, awesome and co. In the reality the product is mono application, meaning you can't read a eBook with wikipedia open in the same time. It can't read flash, so no youtube, deezer and almost 75% of the videos and games on Internet. And of course, no usb, no sdhc, meaning that you can only dock it and use it with iTunes. If you are on PC, then good luck with that.
Thing is, standards people who use the technology like I use a car, just to get from point A to point B without caring about how many horse I use … it's super dupper big and new and shiny. And they pay for it 499$ for a product who can't do 25% of my poor eeePC 701 wich is now sold at 99$ …
What's the point with the title ? The futur of computer ? Well it's simple, have a look at this video (after the break). It's in english, it's a bit long, the first 3min especially, but .. BUT … use patience … you will faint at the end. You will see what you can have already, you will see the most advanced computing technology and more than anything, learn that it's cheap and open source. Meaning that you could take the source and build it yourself.
Thx for bearing my poor english, enjoy this video, please share it.
